 This year's Vice Captain, Ladies' Vice Captain, Captain and Ladies' Captain A Message from the Captain "I have been a member of this great club for 34 years and although I have played on many courses throughout the UK & Ireland and in various countries around the world, I have never grown tired of playing here at the Royal.
In recent years we have seen a massive improvement in the quality and presentation
of the course together with a similar improvement in the quality provided
in the clubhouse and by the clubhouse staff. If you then include
the always excellent Pro shop, Steven and his staff, you have what adds
up to the best in the region.
Unfortunately, there are still a significant number
of our members that have yet to be convinced, particularly when it comes to the
clubhouse and the social events that take place.
Our aim this year is to encourage a greater number
of members to at least sample what the club has to offer other than 18 holes of
golf.
Please take a look at the Monthly Bulletins of upcoming social events
and give one a try. 'You never know you may even enjoy it'.
In the meantime enjoy your golf and remember we are
always ready to listen whether you have a suggestion or a complaint."
