Fees are payable on acceptance and annually on January 1st thereafter. Please note that there are waiting lists for some catagories of membership. Standing Orders All members also have the option of spreading the subscription over the financial year, which runs from 1st January to 31st December and there is a small charge for this. Members joining after 1st April in any year will only pay a pro-rate amount of the subscription based on the total number of months left to the end of December of that financial year. Standing orders run for 10 months from January to October. Entrance Fees On joining the Club there is a new members' premium payable, which is 20% of each year's subscription for the first five years of membership. In year 1 (2009) this works out to a fee of £180 payable on joining and this will rise slightly with each year's subscription increase. The estimated total new members' premium payable for someone joining in 2009 will be approximately £950. The alternative is to pay 100% of the new members' premium (£860) in year 1 and thus not incurring the inflationary increases in the subsequent 4 years. |
